Should we keep to the old way of giving kids letter grade or should schools have a past fail system? I think that we should keep it letter grades. This is because with out it we have no way to tell the difference from a student who is barely making it by to a student who has straight As. Colleges aren't looking for if you just passed your classing they are looking to see if you excelled in them. So why should we tell kids that you can do the minimum and still get the same grade as the person who went beyond the exception? We should be rewording that by giving As. I've work hard in school so I can get a As. I would hate to have someone who just tried enough to pass have the same grade as me.
